Security Camera & CCTV Installation in Central Texas
iSecure 247 designs and installs security camera and CCTV systems for homes and businesses across Central Texas. We’ve done this work since 2013, from our shop in Copperas Cove.
This page is about cameras: coverage that matches the building, recording you can use, and viewing on your phone or desktop. No one-size kit. No pressure package.

What we install and set up
We plan and install indoor and outdoor cameras around how you actually use the site — entries, parking lots, stock rooms, yards, docks, and hallways that matter.
That usually includes:
- Coverage planning so you’re not guessing camera counts
- On-site recording and/or remote viewing, based on what the job needs
- Phone and desktop viewing setup, plus training for you or your staff
- Add-on or replacement work when existing gear is worth keeping
Who it’s for
- Homes, including military and PCS households near Fort Hood
- Retail and restaurants
- Warehouses and industrial sites
- Medical and dental offices
- Schools and campuses
- Property management and multi-site portfolios
- Chains that need a traveling install team for larger jobs outside our usual radius

Cameras vs alarms
Cameras let you see and record what happens. Alarms detect events and can dispatch or notify when something trips.
A lot of properties use both. Cameras alone don’t replace a monitored alarm, and an alarm alone doesn’t give you video of what happened. If you’re not sure which you need first, tell us what’s going on — we’ll help you pick without the scare pitch.
How a project usually runs
- Walk the property (or review it remotely when a site visit isn’t practical yet)
- Recommend camera counts and placement — and explain why each one is there
- Install and aim the cameras
- Set up viewing, recording, and notifications the way you agreed
- Train you or your staff
- Service after install when something needs adjustment or repair
That includes homes and businesses around Fort Hood. For larger projects outside the usual radius, we run a traveling install team — distance is a scheduling question, not an automatic no.
Why local matters
We’ve been in business since 2013. Shop is in Copperas Cove. License TX B18648.
We design around your building — not a national kit dropped on every site the same way. Same number after the install as before it.
FAQ
What’s the difference between security cameras and an alarm system?
Cameras capture video so you can see and review what happened. An alarm system detects intrusion or other events and can notify you or a monitoring center. Many sites use both. Cameras answer “what happened.” Alarms answer “something needs a response now.”
Can I watch my cameras remotely?
Yes. Most jobs include phone and/or desktop viewing so you can check live video and recordings when you’re not on site. We’ll set that up and walk you through it at handoff.
Can you install cameras on an existing system, or only new?
Both. We’ll look at what you already have. If the cameras, cabling, or recorder are still solid, we can often add to it or clean it up. If it’s past saving, we’ll say so and quote a clean new design instead of forcing a patch.
Do you serve my city / the Fort Hood area?
Yes for the Central Texas corridor we list on our service areas page — including Killeen, Copperas Cove, Harker Heights, Temple, Belton, and the Fort Hood area. Outside that list, call anyway. Larger jobs travel; smaller ones we may still schedule depending on the route.
Indoor vs outdoor — what do you recommend?
Match the camera to the spot. Outdoor needs weather-ready housing and the right view of doors, lots, and yards. Indoor covers stock rooms, registers, hallways, and offices. Most commercial sites need a mix. We’ll recommend placement from the walkthrough, not a generic checklist.
How does a typical install go?
Site walk or remote review, then design and camera count, install and aim, viewing and recording setup, training, then service afterward. Timeline depends on camera count, cabling, and whether we’re working after hours. We’ll give you a clear plan before we start.
